According to the Press of Atlantic City, here are a few possible exemptions to NJ’s *One Gun a Month* bill;
- A person who inherits multiple handguns and wants to sell them
- Legitimate collectors, who may lose the opportunity to purchase a set because a seller would not want to break it up
- Competitors, who may need to purchase a variety of competition handguns within a short period of time
- someone who buys, then returns, the gun within 30 days
- limits would not apply to otherwise legal transactions between retail dealers, wholesalers and manufacturers, or from a private owner to those three
And here’s a LINK to the One Gun a Month Task Force Report submitted to Gov. Corzine. It’s over 200 pages, and have not had time to read it myself.
H/T to NJCSD for the Task Force Report

So what efines a “legitimate” collector or competitor? Might be worthwhile looking into getting a C&R or joining a club.
Joining a Club might be the best bet, cause it ain’t worth getting a C&R FFL in NJ.
I’m not sure when these suggested exemptions will be considered. I just hope Korzine don’t try to screw us before Christie gets in.
Hell, I want to join a club anyway. Indoor pistol has been OK at Bullet Hole and Shore Shot, but I want to get a long gun; and even if I get a .22, where’s the challenge at 25 yds?
