Pretty much what I expected.
The only exemptions are:
- Federal, State, or Local LEO’s with regards to job duties
- Transfers between Retailers, Wholesalers, and Manufactures
- Collector’s who hold the Curio’s and Relics FFL, which in NJ is a waste of time
- Individual’s who want sell guns to retail shops for resale
- Inheritance
Hopefully there will still be time to smooth it out even more. It would be nice to repeal this law, but this is NJ afterall, and so that being said, I’d like to see something for competitive shooters, or safety instructors who buy in bulk.
And gosh, our buddy Fred *One Gun a Month* Madden is a sponsor!!
UPDATE: NSSF, via Ammoland, is reporting that since this bill has been introduced during NJ’s lame duck sessions, it should be passed within a few weeks, and signed into law.
UPDATE: There is a similar bill A4304 that is pretty much the same thing.

Could Corzine and Cody be trying to help Madden by allowing him to be the sponsor?
Could be.
I’m sure Madden wants to try and save face as much as possible. When he’s up for re-election, I’m gonna support his opponent.
