So, since I’m in Atlanta GA for the next few weeks for work, I’m been googling gunnie type things to do. And since I’m interested in getting into AR 15′s for long range, I was thinking of taking this class. $125 fee might be a decent investment to see if I even like shooting AR’s, plus a few other things, like, hopefully learning enough about that platform, so that I can make a good investment the first time, instead of getting one, and then later thinking *Gee, I shoulda gotten that one instead*.
Sorta happened with my 1911. Probably shoulda just saved for what I wanted the first time.
Anyway, if anybody stumbles upon this, and hits that link, let me know what you think, and what questions I should ask when I call. I figure I need to find out if they accept out of state students, and rental fee’s and such for one of their AR’s.

Since I’m just a CMP across-the-course guy, that’s what I’d look for – a regular match or practice session and a club rifle to borrow. I’m lucky that we have a nice 200-yard range.
It’s probably easier to borrow and shoot an AR in Georgia than her in California – I had to build my own, it’s pretty easy to do – at least the lower anyhow. I built two.
