Some folks were chattin’ about putting laser sights on black powder guns to help see through all the smoke. But this would be more period correct I’d reckon.

Those are Damascus gloves. Thin, tight fitting leather designed for body searches, either by LE or between consenting adults. Good for shooting as well, since you can still feel the grip and trigger.
