Just woke up about 5 mins ago. Alarm clock is set to AM radio. Some sort of talk radio thing.
Anyway, the host is discussing the Starbucks gun issue. He claims that if gun rights activists reeled in the open carry movement, then gun rights could move forward much quicker.
He then compared this to the gay leather community and gay acceptance. That if the gay community, took the gay leather community out of the parades, then they would have made, and would continue to make, faster strides in public acceptance. They could have taken 10 to 15 years off their struggle if they basically swept the leather community under the rug.
Sounds like gun rights should toss open carry under the bus is what I’m thinking he’s trying to say.
UPDATE: I think this is actually commercial radio. Seems there’s more commercials than actual talk radio type stuff.
