With regards to NJ’s reply to ANJRPC lawsuit challenging NJ’s *One Gun a Month* law, it seems Paula Dow, the new NJ Attorney General, could be confusing the *Right to Keep and Bear Arms* with an *alleged* right to apply for more than one permit at a time.
The alleged right, in a single application, to apply for more than one permit does not fit the bill.
And she uses the Slaughter House case to support some of the clauses in NJ’s One Gun a Month Law.
So if McDonald is inc’d, and levels Slaughter House, could this be a window into how NJ might respond? Or any other State?

Except that the bill does not prohibit applying for more than one permit per application. Or am I misconstruing your quote?
To my understanding, no, one can apply for more than one permit at a time.
I’m interpreting her quote to be that one doesn’t have a *right* to apply for more than one permit at a time.
The law didn’t change the application process – it changed how many permits can be used in a 30-day period (to 1). Many PDs are interpreting that as “one permit per application”, but that’s not the case – since the permits themselves are good for 90 day +90 day extension you can still effectively apply for up to 6 (any more and you’re wasting your $2).
The form on the Sate PD site certainly hasn’t changed
