Just got my sample ballot for next weeks primary election in Hudson County next week.
What a bunch of fuckin’ losers……
The only good thing about next week is that people around here are so brainwashed into voting for the (D) incumbent, and whoever else is in the same column, that the current Hudson County Sheriff , who has jumped to the (R) ship, will loose. This is good for two reasons;
- He does not believe in the 2A, and has said that only Military and LE should be allowed access to firearms, and civilians have no needs for them. And in NJ that includes BB guns, I’m just surprised water pistols haven’t been re-classed.
- He is a tool for Duh Maher (aka Jersey City’s Mayor Healy), and a loss to Rub a Dub’s machine is always a good thing.
Is any gun group doing mailings or giving endorsements for the primaries?
Not too my knowledge.
It’s mostly DIY. So far, a few people have been posting what they find out about candidates in their area, and posting info over at njgunforums.com. Seems a number of Republicans, or Republican leaning Independents are stating they support the 2A, but that has been meet with suspicion, and from what I’ve heard about the 90s, rightly so.
Gonna be going to vote in the primary for my US Rep Leonard Lance, who signed on to the pro-McDonald congressional brief. (For which action I called and thanked).
So if you live in NJ-7, consider this my endorsement
