Well now that the political conventions are over, and the political season will be going into overdrive soon, this song seems rather fitting. As it does during each and every election season.
But I have to wonder, since they sing about ‘fighting in the streets’, ‘shotguns singing songs’, ‘hat tipping to the revolution’, would CSGV but Pete Townshend and The Who on the insurrectionist timeline?
I’m sure CSGV would consider them insurrectionists. After all, Ladd’s musical tastes run more to America than The Who.
