Some fine steel wool and a little elbow grease will clean that Winchester 1873 right up!!
That and a couple of drops of oil !! Must be an interesting story behind this, can’t read the article !
That rifle is in the Kingman, Arizona historical museum on Route 66. The plackard tells the story of what happened to the gun.
Wow. David – can you share the story behind this? Did someone leave the rifle in the crook of a tree and 50 years later it is found?
