Porn Myths and Gun Myths

Was reading an article about absurd porn myths when this stuck out;

The problem is, learning about sex from porn is like learning about firearms from action movies. Action movies sacrifice realism for the sake of storyline or a really cool explosion. Action movies don’t teach you gun safety. Action movies don’t talk about alternatives to violence. And action movies use some tropes—such as the infinite ammo supply—that may move the story along but don’t reflect reality.

And I couldn’t help but laugh out loud, cause the type of people who promote and believe outrageous claims about firearms, are cut from the same cloth as the people who believe all women should look and act like porn stars. Which is probably why so many men in the antigunblobby look like they’ve never kissed a girl, and let out their obvious sexual frustrations out through lame-ass attempts at minstreling……..

1860 McCollough Colt

In 1861, after Texas seceded from the union, and all the federal troops left the Texas frontier forts, Ben McCullough cut a deal with Sam Colt to ship 1,000 of the new Colt 1860 Army revolvers to Texas for frontier defense. 500 successfully made it past the union naval blockade and were used by Texas Rangers to patrol the frontier. 

During the opening shot, you can see the ball leave the muzzle……
